Knowingly I have put this Spooky, Dull picture that tells of how we live... Amazed?? Well, this is very true. How many of us take time to admire the beauty of the rising sun or the twilight when the birds are flying back to their nests? How many of us have the time to look out of the window and see the beckoning hills and feel the gentle breeze? How many of us can feel nature around us?
Our negligence has stripped nature of so much of its beauty. Let’s find time to bring greenness, beauty and life once again...
And then we can find beauty in what W.H. Davies says through his poem;
Leisure
by William Henry Davies
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
